Coaches
Katlyn Drescher
Coach Katlyn joined DCGB’s coaching team in 2023, focusing on the 6-12 year old age groups. As an AmeriCorps member serving with Up2Us Sports, she hopes to instill a sense of positive identity and teamwork in her young players.
Jen Hammond
Jen Hammond has coached high school baseball for a decade, specializing in catching instruction. She has served as the only female coach in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Summer League since 2021 and made history as the first woman to manage a game in the League.
Bonnie Hoffman
Bonnie Hoffman has served as a youth baseball coach and umpire for more than 25 years, specializing in pitching and catching instruction. She participates on the ABCA’s Diversity in Baseball & Youth Committees, and as a mentor at the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy.
Maggie Goldsmith
Maggie Goldsmith played baseball until the age of 14 and varsity softball in high school. She has coached with DCGB’s rec and tournament teams since 2022 and is a pitcher and outfielder with the Eastern Women’s Baseball Conference.
Joanna Randazzo
Johanna Randazzo brings strength and conditioning expertise to DCGB. Trained as a chiropractor, Coach Randazzo became a personal trainer in 2011, especially enjoying her work with young athletes. She was a competitive powerlifter and collegiate volleyball player, and continues to play both baseball and softball.
Hannah Solomon-Strauss
Hannah Solomon-Strauss pitched on her high school’s baseball team in Chicago; along with the one other girl on the team, Hannah was half of the first all-female battery in Illinois state history. She joined the Chicago Women’s Baseball League and their tournament team, the Chicago Gems, and later joined the Eastern Women’s Baseball Conference, where she has played since moving to Washington, DC.
Kelliann Jenkins
Kelliann Jenkins is a knuckleball pitcher who played at the high school and college levels. She pitched for St. John’s College High School and later committed to St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Chatham University. She is a high school pitching instructor for Jackson-Reed High School in Washington, DC.
Rebecca Stern
Rebecca Stern is a DMV native born into a baseball family. She started playing baseball in Little League at age 6, joined DC Dynasty’s travel program in middle school, and played on her high school baseball team. She was a DC Force team member and now plays in the Eastern Women’s Baseball Conference. She hopes to instill in players a competitive spirit, drive to improve and, most importantly, a love for playing baseball.
Scott “Sid” Sidlowski
A long-time baseball fan, Coach Sid played amateur baseball for 15 years and currently enjoys playing softball, frisbee, and volleyball. He has been a special educator for 24 years, teaching students in residential treatment centers, special education schools, and currently teaches in Howard County, Maryland.
Stacie Isenberg
Stacie Isenberg grew up rooting for the Detroit Tigers, collecting baseball cards, and keeping a baseball and glove close by to have a catch whenever possible. She played softball through high school since baseball was not an option, and joined casual rec leagues as a young adult. She coached Little League for over six years.
