Joanna Randazzo
A lover of all sports, Coach Joanna Randazzo grew up playing softball for her local team in a town just outside of New York City. She played volleyball and ran track throughout high school and played collegiate volleyball for Binghamton University.
Coach Randazzo began her career as a chiropractor in mid-town Manhattan but moved to Maryland in 2011, where she began working as a personal trainer, especially enjoying her work with young athletes. Her passion for training to push the limits for optimal performance led her to success in 2014 as she began competitively powerlifting, setting multiple Maryland state records spanning 2014 to 2017. In 2019, Coach Randazzo joined the Eastern Women’s Baseball Conference, where she plays outfield for the Fury.
Coach Randazzo has been with DCGB since 2020 and has a passion for working with players to maintain a high caliber of athletic performance and ready them for advanced levels of play as they further their baseball careers. She prides herself on the positive culture she fosters among the team and views the relationships built with her past and present players as life long. You can often find her going out to support her players at other sporting or extracurricular events that they participate in.
While she has shifted careers, now working for the Food and Drug Administration, she continues to personal train and is excited for the growing opportunities DCGB is building for girls in baseball.
